Marko was contracted to deliver a “stress management” program for Pharmacia Australia in March 2003. At the time Pharmacia was in the process of being acquired by a competitor company and it was expected that many Pharmacia employees would be made redundant in the near future. With this stressful corporate environment in mind, Marko designed a program of Qi Gong physical meditation exercises to help people find focus and calm. The program was presented in a simple format appropriate for beginners. Participants attended two 45-minute sessions each week over 4 weeks and were keen to continue the exercises at home.
